The signed PORTS-Pike Technology Campus deal (Nvidia/OpenAI/SB Energy, Pike County, Ohio) commits SB Energy and SoftBank to build at least 10 GW of new power generation — yielding 8 IT-GW of AI-factory capacity — and to invest at least $4.2B in regional grid infrastructure through a partnership with AEP Ohio, explicitly framed as protecting ratepayers.
