Huang escalates his own growth claim from 70% revenue to a doubling of chip sales volume, made at a UK AI-safety summit alongside the frontier labs

What happened

Jensen Huang told media ahead of a summit with King Charles III — also attended by representatives from Google DeepMind, OpenAI and Anthropic to discuss AI safety — that Nvidia will sell twice as many chips next year as this year, citing AI investment demand "in almost every single country that we're in." This is a volume claim, one notch up from the ~70% revenue growth claim this thread logged from him on 09-11 at Goldman's Communacopia conference (a ~$680bn implied revenue figure on a ~$400bn base); Huang made both claims within a week of each other. Separately on 09-14, Huang told Trump directly "we're not going to let [an AI slowdown] happen," a demand-side reassurance made the same week Anthropic's Dario Amodei publicly called for the industry to slow model-capability development (see AI Bear Turn) — Huang is the clearest industry voice pushing back on that call. Both claims rest on conference/media remarks, not an Nvidia IR filing or transcript. (CNBC, TechCrunch)

Credibility ratings combine two public datasets: Lin et al. 2023, PNAS Nexus 2(9):pgad286 (CC BY 4.0) for the domain-quality score, and Wikipedia's perennial-sources list (CC BY-SA 4.0) for the reliability tier. A rating describes an outlet's general record, never this particular article. Unrated means absent from those datasets — not a judgement.
