What happened

Nvidia is reportedly discussing a new investment in Perplexity AI at a valuation of more than $30B — up 50% from the roughly $20B mark it carried a year earlier — that would add to a stake Nvidia already holds alongside backers Jeff Bezos and SoftBank. The Information broke the story; neither company would comment on the talks, and the investment size was not disclosed.
